Fall 2009 Getogether
Alpha Kora Getogether was held in Stillwater, OK on September 25-26, 2009. Twenty-one actives, sponsors, alumnae and a few visitors joined together for fun, fellowship and study. Friday night started out with excitement as everyone began to arrive. Hugs and laughter were shared as old friends reunited and new friends were made. Catherine Bost, President, officially started Getogether with the opening. Morgan Casmus, program director, had some great games to play. The favorite by far was the gum game, which included singing and gum sculptures. On Saturday morning she led the study “Walking through your lifelong relationship with God.” Each person reflected on their relationship with God when they were 5 years old, 10 years old, 15 years old and currently and then discussed where our relationship will evolve into in the next 5, 10 or 50 years. We also cut and tied material to make blankets that were donated to a Hospice facility in Richardson, TX. Alpha Kora Getogether 2009 was an enjoyable time of sisterhood. To all of our members who could not make it we missed you and you are in all of our prayers.
